Slate is one of the longest-lasting options available when it comes to the material used on a roof, lasting decades if not more than a century if looked after sufficiently by the homeowner. Slate roof has proven to be extremely popular with clients, hence why so many houses sport a slate roof in a variety of designs, material modifications (such as thin concrete) and colours.
